Sam Houston Theatre
I started at Sam Houston MSTC as an English teacher with Teach for America. By my second semester, I had started a glee club and assistant directed all of the theatre productions. The next year, administration offered me the role of full time theatre teacher.

In my two full years as HS Theatre and Choir director, we produced five full-length productions:

We also participated in the C-STEM project and competed at the Texas Renaissance Festival School Days Competition.

In 2013, Sam Houston Theatre took part in Houston's Tommy Tune Awards program.
We worked with the shop and art classes to create an amazing (and sturdy!) puppet theatre for our stage.
